CODEWRIGHT version 6.5a (was Premia/Starbase, now
Borland)
04 Mar 2005
.WareWorks currently uses the Codewright
editing suite to create ‘C’ projects. There is
little about Codewright that cannot be customised in some
way. From the file types that will be opened to the colours
in which code will be displayed, it can all be changed to
suit the user.
Navigation between files is easily done using an explorer
window that lists open files, while searches within a project
are not limited to open files.
- Hierarchy of ‘Project Space’, ‘Project’
and ‘Files’ enhances ability to swap between
tasks rapidly.
- Fully customisable environment.
- Reads many file types.
- Links to function and variable declarations.
- Search options can limit searches to single files, or
search multiple files and formats.
- Multiple window view of different aspects of project
and file.
- Codesense can complete commonly used words automatically.
- Warning of files modified by outside processes, option
to reload or saving existing file.
- Templates for file and function headers.
- File difference search.
- DOS command shell.
