VuTrax is another design package. In addition to schematic and PCB design it offers drawing tools for diagrams. All of these are contained within a single program, with the purpose of a file being worked on (as identified by the file extension) determining the controls available on the toolbars.
Visually VuTrax has the appearance of a DOS program that has been updated to run on Windows. Commands can be entered by selection from menus, toolbar buttons or entered using the keyboard.
Only the schematic design feature has been used by WareWorks to date, and only for a single design. Unfortunately the opinion we formed following this was not favourable. We found the package difficult to get to grips with and had to make frequent calls to the help line.

• Huge range of features in single application.
• Move from one design type to another (eg. Schematic to PCB) without needing to change program windows.
